Sample Guidelines

Requirements for samples and order specifications, by service. Contact us before shipping if your material does not meet the criteria below.

NGS Sequencing

  • DNA: min. 500 ng, concentration ≥ 20 ng/µl, in water or TE buffer (EDTA below 1 mM).
  • RNA: min. 500 ng, concentration ≥ 20 ng/µl, RIN ≥ 7 for most applications.
  • Samples shipped in low-retention tubes, labeled with the project code.
  • Transport on dry ice or a cooling gel pack for RNA and thermally unstable material.

Peptide Synthesis

  • The order specifies the amino acid sequence, required purity and synthesis scale.
  • Modifications (biotin, FITC, TAMRA, phosphorylation) must be indicated in the order specification.
  • For cyclic peptides and difficult sequences, contact us before placing the order.
  • The finished product is delivered lyophilized, together with a certificate of analysis (CoA).

Oligonucleotides

  • The order specifies the sequence, synthesis scale (from 40 nmol) and required purification grade (desalting, HPLC, PAGE).
  • 5'/3' modifications (FAM, HEX, Cy3, Cy5, phosphorylation) must be indicated in the order specification.
  • For TaqMan probes, please provide the reporter/quencher sequence.
  • The product is delivered lyophilized or in aqueous solution, as agreed.
